STAINED GLASS PAINTING WORKSHOP October 28 - November 1, 2019
This mid-to-advanced level workshop is open to those who have taken classes with me or my students in the past. Applicants should have some experience of painting with propylene glycol or be willing to learn the basics prior to attending. Unsure? Please contact me.
Advanced Glasspainting workshops are tailored to suit individual needs. Students may bring their own projects or arrive with no more than a request for what they want to learn. Those wishing to work figuratively may do so if they bring suitable cartoons and glass pre-cut to size. I can also provide ready-to-paint cartoons.
Attendance in this workshop includes an optional 60 min one-on-one tutorial. This is an opportunity to get specific feedback about your own work; solve a particular glasspainting problem; book a technical session on color/glass selection, specific cutting techniques, etc. ; or learn about any art-related topic. Tutorials are scheduled outside of regular class hours.
There will be a slide presentation on glasspainting as a key element in stained glass design and a means to manipulate transparency.
tuition $860 includes lunches and materials.
