STAINED GLASS WORKSHOPS: GENERAL INFORMATION
5-day workshops cost $860. Tuition fees include necessary materials, lunches and snacks.
$200 deposit secures a place, fully refundable up to 30 days prior to first day of class. After this time a deposit is only refundable if your place can be filled from the waiting list.
Balance of $660 is payable first day of class by cash/check or online by credit card. If you received a full scholarship your workshop deposit will be refunded when you arrive.

Workshops are held in southern Vermont near the border with western Massachusetts. The studio is situated on a quiet dirt road in Vermont's Green Mountain National Forest. Address: 359 Rue Madeline, Readsboro VT 05350.
hours, class size
A minimum of 4 students are required. Maximum class size for hands-on workshops is 6. Classes run from 9am-4pm with an hour for lunch.
The studio is open extended hours Monday to Thursday, from 7am-7pm, for independent study
Driving times approx 3hrs from Boston; 4hrs from Manhattan; 7hrs to Quebec City or Baltimore. For air travel, 1.5hrs from Albany International Airport; 2hrs from Bradley International Airport; 2.5hrs from Manchester NH Regional Airport. You will need a car, or plan to carpool with other students.
For partners and family members, this culturally rich area includes Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA); the Clark Art Institute and Williams College Museum of Art. We are close by Mt Greylock, the tallest peak in Massachusetts, with outdoor activities that include outdoor swimming, short hikes to a waterfall, panoramic mountains views, and access to the Appalachian Trail. In winter there’s downhill and cross country skiing, or you can snowshoe right from the studio door.

In nearby North Adams MA, Porches, a beautiful boutique hotel (15 mins drive); the Holiday Inn; or Glen Kotche from Wilco’s re-imagined motel, Tourists (20mins drive);
Camping is available during the summer months at the lovely Clarksburg State Park (10mins drive).
scholarships for artists
Both the American Glass Guild and the Stained Glass Association of America offer educational scholarships and have generously supported past workshops. Artists with or without experience in stained glass may apply. The AGG encourages applications from both US and international residents.
